here are the three new kindle HDs:
1)7 inch screen Kindle Fire HD that will sell for $199 and ships 14th september
2)8.9 inch screen Kindle Fire HD that will come in two variants and begins shipping 20th november
a) 16 GB variant starting at $299
b)32 GB varinat starting at $369
3)AT&T 4G LTE supported also comes in two variants and begins shipping on november 20
a)32 GB variant at $499
b)64 GB variant at $599
That means the range of kindle fire HD tablets is from $199 to $599 as compared to that of apple Ipad's which are starting from $399 and ends up to $829.
These amazon tablets are roughly half the price of Apple Ipad and it will clearly shows that amazon wants to give stiff competition to apple and want to take the no.1 position in the US market.
Specifications
The tablet comes with feature called Kindle free time which allows parents to set time limits for particular activities on tablets like they want that their kids will play games on tablet for 1 hour and for reading purposes it could be used for unlimited time.
All of the Kindle fire comes with full HD 1920*1080 resolution with IPS display.If one wants to do video chat it also comes with front facing HD camera which did not come in previous versions.
The 7 inch tablet comes with Texas instruments OMAP 4460 and 8.9 inch tablet comes with Texas Instruments OMAP 4470 processor
The battery life of cheapest and smallest tablet is 11 hr
The body of the tablet is almost made of plastic with beveled backside
The tablets comes with dolby digital speakers which are on both sides.
