In an unpredicted move, the company which is known to make world class products published an apology letter on its website admitted that apple's maps is not upto that level.
In this letter Tim Cook said that it has more than 100 million iOS devices using the new apple maps and in just a week users with the new maps have already searched for nearly half a billion locations.
The most amazing part is that Tim cook apologized for the frustration that apple maps caused its customers.
Tim cook also suggested that "While we’re improving Maps, you can try alternatives by downloading map apps from the App Store like Bing, MapQuest and Waze, or use Google or Nokia maps by going to their websites and creating an icon on your home screen to their web app."
Regarding this post many people tweet on twitter that google and nokia should not allow apple users to their map.
But in this my opininon is that let them use use the app as it was which will make you improve your own one. If you won't let them use your map, Apple will catch you as more people will use the native one though not by choice and eventually they will reach their goal, but ultimately the users will suffer. Google should make a perfect app for Apple so that most of the apple users use that one and Apple is then forced to invest more on testers before making it perfect instead of getting the job done for free.
